Dear all we visited the restaurant on Friday the 31st of July. We are a family of 4. We chose the specific restaurant due to the critics in trip advisor even thought they were some comments about the stuff being rude. When I asked if we could go across the road and have a quick dive me and my daughter the waitress replies that we have to be carefull not to carry over water and mud from the road so as to keep the restaurant clean . I agree completely even thought it was the first time they deny us in a polite way not to have a swim at a seaside tavern. If they want to keep the restaurant clean the stuff must follow the covid 19 laws imposed by our government "wearing masks in their faces while serving the customers". None of the two employees were wearing masks while serving the customers. Now concerning the food the pasta was not al dente but towards of the limit of being undercooked. The pepper was covering the taste of the srimps in the pasta as well as in the saganaki. Even thought I am a big fun of pepper my wife and two kids are not. We did not return the plates but when we were asked if everything was ok I replied joking that the cook loves his pepper. The answer i got from the waitress is the following" are you sure you have not confused the pepper with the garlic? This is rude and and if she can not distinguish garlic and pepper maybe she is on the wrong business. I propose to taste the local food / dip skordalia and chew some peppercorns. Maybe this will will be of help concerning the difference between garlic and pepper. The Greek traditional salad was very good, the dakos was mediocre for its price as well as the French fries. Expensive food for the quality and very rude stuff. Finally please note that in your menu is a common practice to write if you are using frozen or fresh ingredients. In the pasta with shrimps and the saganaki with shrimps we ordered I presume the shrimps were frozen as all of them had the exact same size and there was nothing in your menu clarifying if they were fresh or frozen.

Top quality (and quantity) food! Couldn’t recommend this restaurant in Porto Kagio enough, went there last night and absolutely everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

Best Greek food I've ever had. And it was not just the lovely view and good mood I was in. Simple dishes, but with the best, freshest local ingredients and prepared with real care and understanding. One of those golden moments...

Their sunbeds and umbrellas take up more space on the beach than the one corresponding to their little hotel. When we asked if we could rent two sets of them, a lady stressed that we could do so only if we had lunch afterwards at their restaurant. She added that the sunbeds and umbrellas are reserved for their rooms upstairs and if their clients suddenly showed up on the beach, they should have some sets kept for them. Stay away! P.S: No client ever showed up!

Lunch at a table on the beach, almost touching the sea. The food is simple and delicious - very fresh fish grilled with oil and salt, and a Greek salad. We speak almost no Greek but they were very kind and brought over a sun lounger for after we ate.

Great little B&B direct on the water. nice owners and staff. I really enjoyed my stay there! Great fresh seafood! Would love to come back again.

We love the environment and food here. Perfectly cooked fresh fish and the service is always fantastic and very helpful. Our daughter loves coming here and choosing the fish to eat. Always come back to Akrotiri.

A reasonable fish restaurant right at the beach of Porto Kagio with magnificent view of the bay. Prices are high, but the food we had was tasty and well made. The young waitress is quite literally laconic! A few more words would have been in order.
