★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο προμαχώνας Ιησού βρίσκεται στη νότια πλευρά των Ενετικών τειχών του Ηρακλείου, δίπλα στις 2 καμάρες της Καινούριας Πόρτας και το κηποθέατρο Οαση ή κηποθέατρο Νίκος Καζαντζάκης.
Ο προμαχώνας πήρε το όνομα του από μικρή εκκλησία που βρίσκονταν εξωτερικά από τα τείχη, αλλά δεν σώζεται σήμερα.
 The bastion of Jesus is located on the south side of the Venetian walls of Heraklion, next to the 2 arches of the New Door and the Oasis or Nikos Kazantzakis Garden Theater.
The bastion was named after a small church just outside the walls, but it is not preserved today.
