 A really quiet place in the middle of the old town, all sights within walking distance and the landlady Mariana is a sweetheart, takes care of everything and gives good advice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apartment is clean and good for 4 people, but we had a very bad experience there.
Someone entered in the apartment and stole our money, passports, electronics and valuables stuffs.
The host had no insurance and Airbnb didn't do much to mitigate this very unpleasant experience.
We went to the Police of Athens but they where useless.
They tried hard to convince us to not press charges and instead of that make a lost declaration.
Later we met many other tourists that also had there belongings robbed and that just got a lost declaration with the police.
We suspect that they do that because they are lazy in doing their job or to not increase the statistics.
Please, take care if you are going to Greece. Athens and Pireus are packed of pickpockets. We saw many of them actin on the streets and in the subway, especially in the green line that takes to Piraeus.
The islands seems to be more safe but we heard in the Brazilian embassy that some tourists had being stolen inside of a hotel room.
Beside all of that, Greece is beautiful and the beaches are amazing.
