I visited "Skorpios" taverna in August 2021 with my girlfriend. Its a tourist hot-spot, offering beautiful view of Monemvasia Rock, and the bay. We had salad, fish and white wine. We got a mixed feelings, positive by the area, but the food was so-so. The salad as seen in the photo was not fresh (the lime/citrus was brown and dry, and the lettuce had been cut at least a day before turning dark). The price we paid was high in regards to the quality of food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food! Loved all of it, especially the signature salad and the fish variety. Beautiful place and very friendly and helpful staff! We went there because Scorpios was the most recommended restaurant from locals as the best in town, and it most definitely lived up to the expectation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fabulous dinner right on the gulf! Beautiful views. Smells. And the dinner itself, couldn’t be happier! I HIGHLY recommend when visiting Monemvasio. I even got to pick out my fish!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great dinner with great views! The catch of the day was red mullet and it was absolutely delicious. Reasonable priced for the location. And attentive, friendly and English speaking staff. All in all just a great place for eating seafood!
