Κατά την πρώτη οικοδομική φάση του, ο ναός ήταν δωρικός με πρόσταση έξι κιόνων και διέθετε λίθινη θεμελίωση, πιθανότατα με τριβαθμιδωτό κρηπίδωμα. Το τέμενος οριοθετούνταν με τοίχο στα δυτικά και στοές προς βορρά και νότο. Περί τα τέλη του 1ου αιώνα μ.Χ., ο πρώιμος ναός αντικαταστάθηκε από έναν νέο, μαρμάρινο, κορινθιακού ρυθμού, με περίσταση 6 x 12 κιόνων επί υψηλού βάθρου. Περιλάμβανε επιμήκη σηκό και πρόναο με δύο κίονες εν παραστάσι στον οποίο οδηγούσε κλίμακα. Το επιστύλιο της ανατολικής πλευράς έφερε λατινική επιγραφή με ένθετα, χάλκινα γράμματα. Το ορθογώνιο τέμενος του ναού οριοθετούσαν στοές. Ο ναός ήταν πιθανώς αφιερωμένος στην λατρεία της Τριάδας του Καπιτωλίου (Jupiter, Juno, Minerva) ή στην λατρεία της αυτοκρατορικής οικογένειας, ενώ κατά τον Παυσανία εκεί λατρευόταν η αδελφή του Οκταβιανού Αυγούστου Οκταβία. During its first construction phase, the temple was Doric with a protection of six columns and had a stone foundation, probably with a three-tiered quay. The mosque was bordered by a wall to the west and arcades to the north and south. Towards the end of the 1st century AD, the early temple was replaced by a new, marble, Corinthian style, with a circumference of 6 x 12 columns on a high pedestal. It included an elongated nave and a porch with two columns in the form to which a staircase led. The entablature on the east side bore a Latin inscription with inlaid, bronze letters. The rectangular mosque of the temple was bordered by arcades. The temple was probably dedicated to the worship of the Trinity of the Capitol (Jupiter, Juno, Minerva) or to the worship of the imperial family, while according to Pausanias it was worshiped there Octavian's sister Octavia.
