A massive, historical building. But there's not much to see inside and one can see everything in just a couple of minutes. Children have free entrance and adults can buy a ticket or a pack, which is available for one entrance to the Archaeological Museum, White Tower and Museum of Byzantine Culture.

Very interesting building which has been a temple, cathedral and a mosque until it became a museum. Entrance 6 €. Beautiful mosaics inside!

Superb, magnificent and majestic. One of the best round buildings in the world. Justifying the term of co-reigning city for Thessaloniki.

Deceivingly large and surprisingly beautiful inside. We hadn’t really planned to stop here, but did since we were walking by and it was a good decision. The majority of the inside is damaged or decrepit, but there are remnants and flashes of it’s former glory that amaze. The sheer size and architecture is, in and of itself, beautiful.

I would recommend visiting this amazing old place, where it was once a church during the 4th century then to be turned into a mosk and now it is a museum.

"It is also known (by its consecration and use) as the Greek Orthodox Church of Agios Georgios, and is informally called the Church of the Rotunda (or simply The Rotunda). The cylindrical structure was built in 306 AD on the orders of the tetrarch Galerius, who was thought to have intended it to be his mausoleum." During the Ottomans it was converted to mosque, but after liberation it is Christian church again.

A massive yet charming historical building that served as a temple, church and mosque. Amazing exteriir but nothing much to see inside as it's just hollow. Single ticket is 6 euro (not worth it in my opinion) while the combined ticket including the White Tower and the city 2 big museums costs 15 euro.

Impressive historical building. Old church, mosque. Its history goes to BC 400 to 20th century as a prayer building.
