μεταξύ των ετών 1602 και 1604 μ.Χ. για να υδρεύονται οι ευγενείς που συγκεντρώνονται στη Λότζια.
Το νερό έφτανε στην κρήνη από την Καινούρια Πόρτα. Βρίσκεται στο δεξιό μέρος του στενού δρόμου που οδηγεί από την οδό της 25ης Αυγούστου στην πλατεία του Αγίου Τίτου, εντοιχισμένη στο βόρειο τοίχο της Λότζια. Η κρήνη αποτελούνταν από ένα ανάγλυφο και πιθανότατα μια γούρνα. Το ανάγλυφο μισοκατεστραμένο σήμερα, είναι κατασκευσμένο από πορόλιθο και παριστάνει μια γυναικεία μορφή η οποία κρατά στο δεξί της χέρι ένα ρόπαλο και στο αριστερό μια ασπίδα. Η γούρνα βρέθηκε κοντά στη Λότζια. Σήμερα δε σώζεται επειδή καταστράφηκε από τους βομβαρδισμούς κατά τη διάρκεια του πολέμου.
The Sagredo fountain was built by the Duke of Crete Ioannis Sagredo,
between the years 1602 and 1604 AD. to supply the nobles gathered in Loggia.
The water reached the fountain from the New Door. It is located on the right side of the narrow road that leads from 25th of August Street to Agios Titos Square, built into the north wall of Loggia. The fountain consisted of a relief and probably a trough. The half-ruined relief today is made of porolith and depicts a female figure holding a bat in her right hand and a shield in her left. The trough was found near Loggia. Today it is not saved because it was destroyed by the bombing during the war.
