FIKAIA IN ASIA, THE REFUGEES OF 1914 AND 1922, RECEIVED ANOTHER CHURCH DEDICATED TO SAINT IRENI! IF YOU VISIT THE AREA, SEE ANYTHING AND THE AMAZING SCULPTURE, "THE BOAT WITH THEIR REFUGEES" Well done to the community, the donor and the sculptor !!! Η θέα από το μεγάλο προαύλιο είναι καταπληκτική, βλέποντας το λιμάνι της Π.Φώκαιας και το Σαρωνικό, ειδικά την ώρα του ηλιοβασιλέματος ή και πιο αργά το σούρουπο. Πίσω από την εκκλησία βρίσκεται το κοιμητήριο. Κάτω και μπροστά από το προαύλιο της Εκκλησίας και όμως ανεβαίνουμε προς αυτή υπάρχει παρεκκλήσιο του Αγίου Φανουρίου. Η πρόσβαση στον χώρο μπορεί να γίνει είτε με αυτοκίνητο, όπου το πάρκινγκ όμως είναι δύσκολο μιας και δεν υπάρχουν πολλές διαθέσιμες θέσεις ή με τα πόδια από σκαλιά στο πλάι του λόφου. Ο Χώρος είναι εξαιρετικός για γάμους και βαφτίσεις ειδικά το καλοκαίρι αν κάποιος θελήσει να εκμεταλλευτεί την ιδιαίτερα όμορφη θέα. Patron of the Old Fokea of Saronikos, is located in the center of the village on a hill. The view from the big courtyard is amazing, watching the harbor of P.Fokea and the Saronic Gulf, especially at sunset or even late at dusk. Behind the church is the cemetery. Down and in front of the courtyard of the Church and yet we climb to it there is a chapel of St. Fanourios. Access to the area can be done either by car, where the parking is difficult as there are not many available places or on foot by steps on the side of the hill. The Space is excellent for weddings and baptisms especially in the summer if one wants to take advantage of the particularly beautiful view.
G	Giota papakiriakopoulou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όμορφη εκκλησία με ωραία θέα και μεγάλο προαύλιο όμως τίποτα δεν συγκρίνεται με τον καταπληκτικό Πάτερ Κυριάκο! Αν όλοι οι ιερείς ήταν τόσο καλοι η εκκλησία θα ήταν γεμάτη από κόσμο. Βάφτισα ένα αρκετά μεγάλο κοριτσάκι και πραγματικά το μυστήριο ήταν ότι πιο όμορφο έχω συμμετέχει ποτέ στη ζωή μου. Ο πάτερ με απίστευτη αγάπη για τα παιδιά υπομονή προς τους μεγάλους έκανε ένα υπέροχο μυστήριο στο οποίο Οι καλεσμένοι συμμετείχαν και δεν ήταν απλοί θεατές. ♥️♥️ Beautiful church with a nice view and a large courtyard but nothing compares to the amazing Father Kyriakos! If all the priests were so good the church would be full of people. I christened a pretty big girl and really the mystery was that it was the most beautiful I have ever participated in my life. The father with incredible love for children, patience for adults made a wonderful mystery in which the guests participated and were not ordinary spectators. ️ ️ ♥ ️
Δ	Δανάη Γ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είμαι άνθρωπος που διαχωρίζει την πίστη από την εκκλησία ΞΕΚΑΘΑΡΑ! Χθές όμως βαφτίσαμε την ανιψιά μου στην Αγία Ειρήνη κι έχω να πω πως αν κι επιφυλακτική (όπως πάντα), αισθάνθηκα τελικά ευγνώμων που οι γονείς της την επέλεξαν γι αυτήν την αρκετά έντονη ημέρα στη ζωή ενός μωρού. Ο πάτερ Κυριάκος, απίστευτος άνθρωπος! Κράτησε το μωρό ήρεμο, δεν πρόσβαλε γονείς των οποίων τα μωρά έκαναν θόρυβο (πού ακούστηκε αυτό για μωρά), εκτέλεσε το μυστήριο με αγάπη και σεβασμό προς τη νεοφώτιστη κι έκανε την κολυμπήθρα, ευκαιρία για "δροσερή βουτιά" και όχι "τιμωρία". Τον ευχαριστώ θερμά που μου έδωσε την ευκαιρία να ανανεώσω την ελπίδα μου για ειλικρινή ιδανικά και ανθρωπιά... I am a person who separates faith from the church CLEARLY! But yesterday we baptized my niece in Agia Irini and I have to say that although cautious (as always), I finally felt grateful that her parents chose her for this quite intense day in the life of a baby. Father Kyriakos, an incredible man! He kept the baby calm, did not offend parents whose babies made noise (where this was heard about babies), performed the sacrament with love and respect for the newcomer and made the swimming pool an opportunity for a "cool dip" and not a "punishment". I warmly thank him for giving me the opportunity to renew my hope for sincere ideals and humanity ...
