★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Samano is a great restaurant but more than that it was a unique culinary experience for me. For I never ate dishes where the sides outshined the main in such a matter that I couldn't be bothered by the main protein on the plate anymore. This was not only the case for the main course but for all dishes much to my surprise (even the desert). Don't get me wrong the main protein (meat/fish) is great but whatever it comes with is of an almost divine level of culinary skill. So go there and order not by chosing the main protein but by what it's served with!!!! Thanks Samano for this unique experience! (Especially the favabeans)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't know where to start! We tried many delicious dishes, I think the fava was the one that really stood out. Desert was my favorite though, the salted caramel with the cacao and ice-cream! The atmosphere inside was cozy even though we sat at the bar, staff amazing and helpful as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the dishes we had were very good, some less. But this is rather expected in places where the menu is more bold than the usual.
What is certainly out of order is that the two hours seating policy contradicts the concept of the menu, which is sharing and multi tasting, therefore slow eating. And even though our reservation was the last of the night, the flow of the food was unpleasantly fast, as this is how they are used to serve you in order to meet the usual time limitation.
Something else that is unfair for such a good restaurant is the arrangement of the terrace. Using the cheap plastic curtains as dividers from the neighboring restaurants is very tacky.

Dishes are deeply thought, professionally prepared, elegantly presented. It's an experience for the taste, for the nose and the eyes
