★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An well known coffee shop in the Plaka neighborhood , right under Acropoli . Very good customer service , excellent choice for coffee , drinks and "mezededes", traditional greek side dishes for your ouzo. Excellent location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were walking by and stopped for dinner there as the place was full of people, had a nice vibe and looked cute. Service was attentive but food for most part was inedible - they don’t cook anything on the spot, everything is either coming out of a can or pre-cooked and reheated, including “fried” food (kolokythokeftedes, revythokeftedes etc) which feels like eating a rock. Just walk past it and go eat elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet location out of the tourist fray, food was a mixed bag.
Starters were potato salad (good) and eggplant salad (tasty but too creamy for my liking, might be how it’s meant to be).
Mains - my wife had the chicken gyros which were tasty but luke warm, she still enjoyed them. I had the moussaka - I should have heeded the reviews on this site which criticised this dish, but I optimistically hoped they might have read the reviews and improved their performance on one of Greece’s signature dishes. When it arrived it was fairly warm and asked the waiter if it could be heated up. Even after reheating it was still just warm, and it was very dry and bland.
I can honestly say that I have had better ready meal moussakas from a supermarket back in the UK. I only ate a small portion of it and later in the evening I felt very queasy and bloated despite eating a modest amount.
The house red was good but couldn’t make up for the above let down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just came back from the Sweet that was packed and had a very descent overall review.. really disappointing food from a place that has admittedly a nice vibe and the service was good. Each one of the "fasting" plates that we took was tasteless - no salt whatsoever - rather cold and evidently being prepared hours if not day(s) ago or canned. It was probably a very bad choice from a numerous touristic places in plaka area. We should have chosen differently especially being with kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely peaceful location ... away from the, often overcrowded nearby touristy places. ??
I particularly like the outdoor seating area... but so far I haven't tried their food. When I do I'll update this review ... but until then, if you are in the area, I can recommend stopping for a beverage! ?
