Great hotel. The room was charming and peaceful. The hospitality and service were a perfect accompaniment to the sublime Caldera sunset.

We stayed one night in the hotel and enjoyed it a lot. Every room has a balcony with a great view of Fira and the caldera. Breakfast had nice selection of food and the staff was extremely friendly. It was a bit harder to find as it spans on several "floors" and google maps was showing a slightly different location.

What I liked The location of the hotel is amazing. You can see the complete caldera, sitting right in your balcony and look at the beautiful city of Fira in all its charm. The view from the common terrace is simply the best view from the complete hotel from where you can enjoy the wonderful sunset over the horizon (no need to rush anywhere else, this is the best spot) and the morning breakfast (its open all the time by the way). Getting to the hotel and out of it can be little tricky as there are some flight of stairs to climb up. But it's absolutely worth the effort. Our host was super helpful and gave a very detailed walk through of things worth visiting in Santorini and how to get there. The obvious way of getting to those places is the bus. The central bus station of Fira is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel which was a added advantage. The indoor pool was awesome and very clean. The breakfast was simple, clean and had all the items that will give you a great start in the morning What I disliked Some cushions should be added to the sun bath chairs on the terrace WIFI connection in rooms at lowest tier/level is not good

It is with regret that I review this hotel as extremely poor in relation to the booking and customer service I received. I was in Greece in September 2019 for a month to visit family in Athens and while there decided to visit a few islands. All the hotels I stayed at in the different islands were absolutely exceptional, however this hotel stood out as the poorest and upset my mum and I very much since we had received such great service everywhere else. Initially I booked through Expedia which appeared to be the last room in the hotel for the dates I requested. The room was to include a sea view/caldera view with balcony and either a double bed or two single beds. The request was not accommodated and I received an email stating that there was an error from their end and that they could not accommodate us at the hotel but could at their sister hotel in KAMARI - (which is approximately 10 km from where we wanted to be based). As this was not my request and I did not want to take the offer, I was happy to decline the offer completely and have my money sent back to me. We called the hotel directly to have the money sent back or be accommodated at our preference hotel in Thira. The hotel reassured us that they would accommodate us at our first preference (i.e with a sea view, balcony and with the beds requested). On arrival to the hotel, to our dismay, we were told that our room was not available and that we would have to sleep one night in a different room with no balcony/view. The gentleman at reception took us to the room. It was horrible, it was room no.1 and it felt like an underground attic/basement. It was small and closed in and had a window almost like a jail cell with bars. My mum and I felt so uncomfortable. I asked the gentleman at reception if we could use the phone at reception so I could call my family in Athens to let them know we had arrived. He stated that the phone cannot be used to call to Athens. This was inconvenient as the reception and WIFI in the room we were staying was poor also. When we finally changed rooms the next night, we had a beautiful view and balcony as per the booking request, however the room overall was not so clean and appeared quite old and dated. The night before we were to leave we asked if we could have assistance with our luggage in the morning (as to get to the the bus stop or taxi stand you need to go up many large stairs uphill). We were advised that a taxi could not be called, that the best option would be to go to the bus stop and catch a bus to the port. We did not get any support or assistance with our luggage up the hilly stairs and the overall service with the staff at reception was cold and disinterested. On leaving the hotel, I asked for the first night stay to be refunded due to not receiving the room I booked. We were told to contact the office of the hotel, which we did when we returned to Athens. We were advised and reassured by the office of this hotel that we would receive a partial refund payment back due to the error. We never received the refund even after follow up weeks later. I eventually gave up as they only committed to refunding 30 euro (not even half the price of what the room was). So very very disappointed with this hotel as I had high expectations. Do not stay here.

Beautiful location and a great view from our room and the patio above. Sam (I think the owner) spent time to tell us about all of the points of interest and was really friendly. The room we had was great. Clean and large. The shower was not what I'm used to, but we made due.

I don’t usually write reviews, however wanted to help travellers who are picking their hotel! Location was fantastic! Beautiful common balcony to sit and enjoy the views and sunset. Room was ok. We had an economy room, so just a window no balcony. The bathroom was dated and the shower was a little sad. Wifi was horrible - dint expect it if you book here. No wifi in rooms and maybe wifi on common balcony. Pool wasn't working when we went and it was indoor - honestly i would go with an outdoor pool if I were to stay again. Hotel staff were nice and helpful.
