He is kind, knowledgeable, and was lots of fun. He brought a beautiful bottle of wine, along with cheese and local snacks, and we finished with a very thoughtful picnic. We highly recommend Thanos!

A very knowledgeable guide, Thanos shared with us the history, culture, and customs of Santorini and the neighboring islands. His English is very good and Thanos is a great listener who you can tell, really loves the country of Greece. Thanos was so helpful and kind to our group, providing suggestions and assistance in many ways, and taking time to get to know individual members of the group. He even took us to a local restaurant to help us set up a future dinner for our group. You would be very lucky to have Thanos as your guide while in Santorini. He is AWESOME!

Our guide “Lydia” was absolutely terrific and her energy along with her knowledge and love of the area was evident with every step. Lydia took great care to not only “show and tell” this exceptional Greek island town, but also to get to know us a little bit. We were never hurried and Lydia always did her best to make sure that our morning together would be remembered. Because of Lydia’s effort we saw vista’s and experienced things we would have never been able to do on our own. All all it was a incredible way to get know the area and learn something along the way. For the price we paid it included so much; the taxi to get to where the tour started, a wine tour and a ride back to our meeting point along with an awesome guide. Thanos was really knowledgeable about the island and gave us some great tips on what else to do with our time on the island! If it wasn’t for him we would have figured out about the bus too late as well as some of the great hikes we did later in the trip. He really gave us the best experience as well as a history lesson about the island and how it came to be what it is today, one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

He was loaded with a plethora of information about Santorini and it's various small islands. We had great conversations, unbelievable views, and a wonderful dinner at the end of our 10K hike. Thanos, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and mindful throughout our entire tour. Through him we were able to learn so much about the culture and the history of the area. The tour itself was perfect! We started in the older part of the town Oia and made our way through to the newer parts before talking a lovely scenic stroll through the less tourist-inhabited Fira. The tour ended with a delicious wine and cheese tasting while overlooking the sea. I don’t have a single complaint! If we ever make it back to Greece, this walking tour will be the first thing we add to our itinerary!
