About Shri Gaia Institute

Accommodation

Our venue is a place we come back to year after year for the past 20 years. It is an eco-lodge build especially for seminars, 4km outside of Paleochora, set in nature with all the quiet and privacy that we require for our work. Beaches and Paleochora village are accessible by a taxi, we usually arrange the pick-up and drop off for the group at a specific hour. Many of our past participants also loved to walk the beautiful route to the beach and Paleochora village that takes anywhere between 20min and 40min. Accommodation is based on a double occupancy. Single rooms are limited but can be arranged upon request.

*Food IS NOT included on this course. Due to wide dietary preferences we’ve faced in the last years, the overall cost of food to satisfy all diets proved not to be cost effective for our participants. For this reason, we have removed the cost of food from this course and instead we provide two fully equipped kitchens for your use where you can store and prepare your food. We will arrange 2 trips to the supermarket during our stay so that you can purchase your brunch groceries. Late lunch / early dinner is usually eaten outside at the beach or in one of the many delicious restaurants that provide fresh local food.

Amazing experience on learning how to deal with challenging situations and how to recognize your unknown potential led by great and super skilled yoga teachers of Shri Gaia Institute experienced in leadership, mentorship and life coaching. It was really good to have two teachers, so that we could learn from different perspectives. Tanya and Marina were so professional and human at the same time that made the experience so special and the teaching so rich. The planned schedule was perfectly followed, they organized amazing trip during our day off in beautiful places in Crete, every day we had a minivan which was driving us to beach and then back to our residence. I would definitely recommend this training again and again. Thanks to Tanya, Marina and Shri Gaia Institute.

From the 200-hour Teacher Training to Pre/Post Natal and Yin Yoga I have been introduced and welcomed to all trainings and have been equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge that enabled me to become a Yoga Instructor at my current work environment as well as find my own students to teach. I have learnt to teach students of all levels and to adjust my lessons safely according to students' needs. Not only have these teacher trainings helped me to become a better Yoga Instructor each time but a better version of myself too as we were taught about Karma Yoga and selfless acts too. I am more than happy to have met and be taught by Tanya Popovich who welcomed me into Shri Gaia family along with all the other incredible teachers that work and teach with her and last but not least all the wonderful fellow Yogis I met along the way. I recommend this institute a million times if you are in search for a Yoga qualification!
