★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our morning cooking lesson with George and Dina and highly recommend it. It was a wonderful way to learn about the history of agriculture and food on Sifnos through George’s stories, while picking up great Sifnian recipes and cooking tips, and eating the farm’s delicious produce. George’s narration of the experience had us marveling at his passion for the traditional recipes and farming methods, while promising ourselves to keep at least a bit of it alive when we got home by keeping in our kitchen a jug of vinegar that never runs dry (to find out how, you have to take the class). Breakfast was a delicious start to the day, with strong Greek coffee to get us all going. Lunch was simply amazing. It was so special to learn about ingredients and how to prepare them, and then sit down to a feast with lovely food and the lively company of George and our fellow attendees from 4 countries. Thank you George and Dina!
EDIT from a few months later: We've since made several of George's recipes at home, including the Lamb mastello. They are very easy and incredibly flavourful. This was a cooking class with lasting lessons!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the morning cooking lesson with George and his wife Dina. They served us a nice breakfast with ingredients from the farm and some fresh and aged goat cheeses. We then learned traditional Sifnian recipes and cooked along with George to prepare lunch. George and his wife were so welcoming and warm. He taught us some of the history of farming on Sifnos and how they farm without watering the crops. We toured the farm and sampled some fresh vegetables and fruits and fed the goats. Everything was so fresh and delicious. This was truly a unique experience and it was the highlight of our trip to Sifnos and the Cyclades. We would highly recommend going to the Narlis farm for a meal and a cooking and farming lesson.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience! George and his wife Dina are the warmest most welcoming people, and we loved hearing George's stories, touring their farm (you won't believe how many things he grows without water!), feeding figs to the friendly goats, and following along as George cooked us a delicious Sifnian feast in their cozy farmhouse kitchen. Can't wait to try making the recipes at home!
(p.s. they also have a restaurant on Platys Gialos called NUS! We didn't have a chance to eat there but would have loved to if we had time)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best experience on Sifnos! Georgio took us through the history of Greek and Sifnian cuisine, of Sifnos, and of his family's farm. We talked at length about the dry farming techniques he uses. Then we got to learn how to cook traditional Sifnian dishes and enjoy them while he continued giving us tips about cooking and cuisine in general. It was amazing. We are still eating the figs he gave us when we toured his garden! If you want to learn authentic Greek cuisine, this is the place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the cooking class and farm tour and it was incredible. You feel like you are in the home of the owner's farm and are treated like family.
- It was a lot of fun and a very unique experience.
- We learned about the farm and the techniques around "dry farming" as well as the culture/ history of the island.
- We had an incredible meal that we will now know how to cook ourselves.
If you are on Sifnos, I would highly recommend seeing if they have a spot available to do this class. It was truly a highlight from our two week trip in Greece!
