Stumbled across this place and the food was absolutely delicious and inexpensive. The baked feta, aubergines with cheese and pasta with pancetta were all fantastic. Highly recommend and would 100% go back

A small and very cozy restaurant in the city center. Large and tasty portions of local cuisine. Incredibly polite and welcoming service. Great quality for a reasonable price!

Hands down the best meal I had throughout all of Greece. We had the big meat plate, Siga Siga salad, beets, pasta, fried zucchini, and fried potato. Everything was incredible. No frills but absolutely delicious. Can’t beat it for the price. Highly recommend.

I was waiting a while before leaving a review for this place. I’ve been 3/4 times over the last year and always enjoyed the food but had some not so great experiences with the service. But after leaving it for a year and trying again the food was even tastier than before and the service was generally improved too. It is still hard to catch someone’s attention when you want to order, but if you’re not in a hurry it doesn’t matter so much. Our favorite items are the skioufichta and also the little phyllo rolls filled with greens and cheese. We enjoyed the soutzoukakia as well but they weren’t quite hot, only warm. The house white wine is perfectly drinkable and the homemade loukoumades are a delicious complimentary dessert. Thanks to the food we will definitely keep returning.

Very nice place with lovely people running it. Food was outstanding- baked potatoes, fava,Lima beans, tzatziki all super delicious. They also gave us complimentary raki at the end along with cut fruits (pears n orange) and also a dessert!! That's insane. Its the best value for money. Had a lovely time. Thank you :))))

I don't even know where to start. I found myself here because the place next door didn't have a table available that night. What a silver lining! I ended up spending 3 of my 7 days in Heraklion eating here (and only because my partner insisted on taking a trip around the island, otherwise I would have gladly spent 7 out of 7 nights here). Proper, traditional Cretan & Greek dishes prepared without any pretension. Don't be offended if you think the service is what you might call "rushed" at first...you might be a one-time patron never to be seen again and it's a busy place with loads of locals waiting for their food, and given it's only thee guys running around non stop, give them a break. In return, you'll be rewarded with great food. I tried too many dishes to name favourites but I'd definitely come again for the liver, the snails and the rabbit (Jesus, that rabbit!). Can't wait to go back next year. Honest food at very reasonable prices!

I came here every day on my trip to the city (twice on my last day)! Friendly staff, nice music, good Greek food. Didn’t even bother looking for another place to have dinner. Personal favorites were the fresh sardines and the local pasta with pancetta!
