Το μοναστήρι είναι σ σε καταπληκτική θέση στον νομό Ηλείας πολύ κοντά στη θάλασσα και στην πρωτεύουσα του νομού. Είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμο από την Ολυμπία Οδό.
Η ατμόσφαιρα μέσα στο μοναστήρι γαλήνια!
Το τελετουργικό κατανυκτικό! Η παρουσία του θείου, έντονη!
Είναι ένα από τα μοναστήρια που τιμούν ιδιαίτερα οι κάτοικοι της Ηλείας, που μαζί με το μοναστήρι της Παναγίας της κρεμαστης, αποτελούν πηγή έμπνευσης για τον κάθε επισκέπτη.
Πανηγυρίζει τον δεκαπενταύγουστο.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είναι μια από τις καλύτερες παραλίες στην Ηλεία, με τρομερή άμμο μέσα στην θάλασσα με κρυστάλλινα νερά και χρωματισμό νησιού πάντα καθαρά νερά, με αρκετή κίνηση γενικότερα από κόσμο.κάπως σχετικά μικρή παραλία.απάνω έχει το ποιοτικό μπαράκι solymar το οποιο εχει άνεση και θέα άπλετη να αγναντεύεις στην θάλασσα.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Teilweise sehr schön, ist aber doch teilweise sehr mülllastig besonders die Mündung des Flusses ins Meer...leider.!...Das Hotel Panorama und den schönen Strand kann ich aber sehr empfehlen!! Die Gegend ist schon sehr kontrastreich!
