★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a 5-star experience!
Noisy - airport is too close and the rooms is not built to shut out noise. We had to change rooms.. The new room was next to the bar which plays music until midnight every day.
Understaffed and untrained staff (sometimes rude). We informed in the booking and upon arrival of a special celebration without any notice apart from a ”good for you” - doesn’t make you feel special or appreciated as a guest.
The night staff might as well be an answering machine as they are not able to help or even communicate properly.
Facilities - rooms are basic with no luxury amenities. wi-fi only works next to the reception. only nicely designed area is the pool, and is there is no gym or spa. there was a battery beeping in the corridor all night and the cleaning hours were sporadic and poor quality. When I asked for champagne glasses and ice in the reception I got Two plastic cups with ice (again at a 5-star resort).. when I explained what I wanted to the room service staff she was very accomodating and brought the correct items after.
Several people commented and I experienced it as well - much chlorine in the pool giving rashes and skin problems. One day some of the guests were asked to shower before bathing but not all which made it look singled out.. the sundes get occupied quickly and guests reserve beds with towels and belongings while at breakfast or away and we witnessed several fights between guests (technically this is not the hotels fault but it comes down to the fact that they are understaffed and not managing the pool area)
The hotel gives you one beach towel for your whole stay (apart from the shower towels in room) and if you want to exchange them they charge 2 euro per piece, this is no major cost but at a luxury resort one doesn’t expect to pay extra for clean towels.
The restaurant (we only had breakfast there) was uninspired and not great food.
A nice little 3-star operation but definitively a disappointment for the price and expectation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my partner recently stayed at this hotel and had the most amazing experience possible.
To start we had some issues with attending for our original dates and when I contacted the hotel I had a lovely gentleman called Antigoni assist me to amend my booking and he even helped arranges new transport from the airport etc.
Once we arrived we were shown to our room and it was beautiful! Perfectly clean and fresh and we even had a little gift left in our fridge to welcome us to the hotel.
Throughout our stay all the staff were very attentive and gave amazing service, especially Katerina and Emily who work in the restaurant/ bar.
The food was amazing and all well priced. We spent a lot of our time just by the pool and it was perfect, they had good music and it was very relaxing.
I would 100000% recommend to anyone wanting to go to Santorini.
If we had any questions in regard to taxi’s or activities the reception staff were always happy to help and arrange this for us which was also an extra to the service that made our stay even more relaxed.
Thank you Mediterranean White for making our holiday so perfect! x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a 5-star hotel…
My story is simple - if you’re looking for disappointment then check in to this hotel. The criteria of a 5-star hotel are not met at the Mediterranean white, on a good day it’s at most a 3-star hotel.
This is my experience:
The WiFi was troubleshooting our entire stay - so you have to sit in the lobby to get a good connection or any connection for that matter.
Location of the hotel - right next to the airport so you can forget sleeping because there is an airplane taking off every 30-40 min and the sound is like an earthquake - it will be unavoidable keeping you up all night.
They charge for new pool towels - this is ridiculous for the price you pay for the hotel.
Order food to your room - they charge a 10% service charge to bring it to the room.
There is no transportation from their location to any close by towns - so you better be lucky renting a car or moped.
The battery on the door handle was running low and so a beeping sound of the door kept ringing between 3 am-5 am. Asked the guy in the lobby - pointless - I fixed it myself.
We celebrated our 15th anniversary - forget about any recognition, even though they ask you ’’Are you celebrating any special occasion’’.
The only person that seems to know what he is doing and is the backbone of the hotel is Marco. He helped us with our stay and saved whatever was left of their so-called 5-star rating...
You will be better staying on an Airbnb…mark my words.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well kept hotel, with fantastic staff, who are moth than attentive. The facilities are great, although the pool was a little cool. Breakfast had a good variety of food and closely adhered to safety (covid) proticols. Be aware though, this hotel is remote and so transport is recommend. We had already hired a quad bike for the week and so were ok, however some guests were complaining about the cost of public transport €20 each way for a taxi to Fira. To be honest, I think we had much more fun on the quad.. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got back from a weeks stay . Immaculate hotel , very friendly staff , yes its by the airport but we knew that before we booked and the noise from the planes didn't bother us at all in fact you don't notice it really . Theres 2 great traditional restaurants nearby,, literally one one the side road to the left and one to the right of the hotel and also Nikki Beach next door which is on another level
I wouldn't class it as a 5 star Hotel , it comes close especially the outdoors pool area my only complaint was that the buffet was hit and miss and food which was meant to be was always cold no even if you got there just as it was being brought out which was completely unacceptable .
I'd recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This holiday was sold as a half board basis with Alacarte menu.
It changed to a BB board last year, so consequently, they were not a quipped to deal with the service of food.
The food was very very poor, very cold, and some nights un edib to eat.
There was no entertainment.
And Yr miles from anywhere, which means you are spending megga bucks on taxis.
We still have 4 days to go, and have complained frequently. The Jet2 rep cannot be reached at all, nor is head office awnsering any calls.
This is disgraceful, and Watch Dog needs to follow this up?
Mr. G. Sheppard.
