★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a seemingly beautiful hotel in town and it does have nice decor, beds and furniture - but be aware the internet is not reliable in Iraklia and is frankly even worse in this hotel. Also, be aware that a hotel that has non-working wifi during your stay like this one will still go ahead and charge you for your morning coffee (when the room doesn't even come with make your own coffee). This is not acceptable.

Alexandra the host is one of the nicest and helpful people you'll meet. Very good location, in between the 2 main beaches of the island..

Staying at hotel "Speires" was an unforgettable experience. Situated on the top of the hill that dominates the harbor of Ag. Georgiou allows you to alternate your gaze on mountain and sea while with its orientation you can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. Immersed in an armchair on the balcony, have your morning coffee enjoying the sunrise… and you're off !!!
The complex, neat, without exaggeration, in harmony with the environment and the desired relaxation. Our room was spacious enough with the necessary equipment. Excellent cleanliness in all areas.
The staff was excellent, willing to serve you immediately while the owner Alexandra, with her wide disarming smile makes you feel … guilty because you did not ask for more. Breakfast was excellent.
The uphill’s from the village presents a minor difficulty, but you get used to it relatively easily.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Irakleia (Ηρακλειά). Perfect choice. We look forward to next time !!
