It is difficult to remain objective about the most beautiful place on the island, also most often photographed by tourists. More than 20 years ago we spent the first night in one of the four carefully and with great taste prepared studios. If you value simplicity but comfort as well (you will get everything you need from the owner), also an great aesthetics (e.g. lamps hand-made by the owner from shells fished out, or washbasins set in Greek vases), but most of all you want to listen to interesting stories about the island's inhabitants and their traditions, this is the best place on the island to stay. And so for over twenty years now, every few years we come back here to Georgios, his beautiful studios, we come back to his interesting stories, and a beautiful island that is one of the last paradises on earth. Villa Glafkos, five stars plus, definitely recommended! Dorota and Peter
