Personale cortese e disponibile.
Prezzo medio-basso.

We had dinner in this Greek tavern which takes its name from the tree where the tables are set below. Peuko = Pine.
The menu is small because they prefer to propose and serve fresh food. Their best dishes are from earth, goat, lamb, sheep.
All cooked on the grill, slow cooking (on holiday you can wait) and served with fried potatoes or other vegetables.
Excellent desserts to finish the dinner.
Yogurt with honey and a typical Greek dessert.
Staff courteous and helpful.
Medium-low price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old and dry bread, our meat was also very dry and burned (even for Greek standards), we had to wait ages for our bill and the staff was grumpy or wannabe funny. There are definitely better choices on Iraklia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the positive side the house wine was very pleasant. For understandable reasons with the difficulty of supply to the island, which other tavernas are coping with, the menu here was severely limited. Eventually they produced a beef burger which was not seasoned nor had any added herbs or flavourings and we had agreed that this would be accompanied with their 'red sauce', but this turned to be too difficult for them to produce and it came dry. Fifteen minutes later my partner's calimari appeared, swimming in a cm of oil! There was nothing to accompany this and they wanted 13 euros for it. When we questioned the value and quality of the calimari, we were told that we didn't understand Greek food! After twenty-two years of visiting over 25 islands, I think we have an appreciable idea of Greek cuisine, which is one of the reasons we keep returning. The table didn't even have any serviettes or condiments. This was the worst meal we have had in Greece and it was accompanied by surly and disorganised attendance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think you can avoid this place.
If you have the patience to wait for 1+ hour in order to be served , this is the place for you.
Greek salad>poor, no olive oil
Pork souvlaki> burned outside and bad taste
Meatballs> good taste but burned outside also
You have many other options to eat in this island
