Δ	ΔΡΑ ΚΩΝ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ όμορφος και προσεγμένος χώρος που περικλείει την όμορφη εκκλησία της Παναγίας Ελεηστριας προστάτιδα της πόλης.Η εικόνα της Ελεήστριας βρέθηκε στις 22 Ιανουαρίου 1897,ύστερα από ένα όραμα μιας ευσεβέστατης ηλικιωμένης γυναίκας από την Κορώνη της Μαρίας Σταθάκη. Η γυναίκα αυτή έβλεπε για 15 χρόνια συνέχεια στον ύπνο της, σαν όραμα τη θεϊκή μορφή της Θεοτόκου, που της υπεδείκνυε τον τόπο ,στον οποίο θα βρισκόταν με ανασκαφές τρείς μικρές εικόνες, του Εσταυρωμένου ,της θεοτόκου και του ευαγγελιστή Λουκά. Οι εικόνες ήταν γλυπτές ,σαν αγαλματίδια .Η σύνθεση και των τριών αποτελούν την σημερινή εικόνα της Ελεήστριας. Εκτός από την εκκλησία από εδώ μπορείς να θαυμάσεις και την υπέροχη θέα αλλά επίσης και να εισέλθεις από την πάνω μεριά του κάστρου της Κορώνης το μόνο που είναι ακόμη και σήμερα κατοικήσιμο. Very beautiful and well-kept place that encloses the beautiful church of Panagia Eleistria, patron saint of the city. The image of Eleistria was found on January 22, 1897, after a vision of a pious old woman from the Statue of Maria Stathaki. This woman saw for 15 years continuously in her sleep, as a vision the divine figure of the Virgin Mary, who indicated to her the place where she would find with excavations three small icons, of the Crucified, the Virgin Mary and the evangelist Luke. The icons were sculpted, like statuettes. The composition of all three is the current image of Eleistria. Apart from the church from here you can admire the wonderful view but also enter from the upper part of the castle of Koroni the only thing that is still inhabitable today.

A visit for a pilgrimage to the miraculous icon of the Virgin of the Elesteria is recommended. A place of calm and serenity.

It is embedded in its green park with large and in summer cooling trees where you also find a fountain with benches. Remarkable is also the single standing bell tower. From Eleistria, you have a great view to Zanga and Memi Beach and Venetiko Island. A place to visit and return.
