★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Σε αυτήν την περιοχή του κάστρου, βρισκόταν άλλοτε η Ακρόπολη της Αρχαίας Ασίνης, και τα ερείπια του Ναού του Απόλλωνα είναι μάλλον από τα ελάχιστα σημεία στο κάστρο που μας το θυμίζουν. Βρίσκεται στα αριστερά μας αφού διαβούμε την είσοδο του μοναστηριού, δίπλα από το εκκλησάκι της του Θεού Σοφίας. Ελάχιστοι κίονες και κάποια πώρινα σκαλοπάτια έχουν μείνει να θυμίζουν τον αρχαίο ναό. Σε αυτό συντέλεσε στο οτι ο ίδιος χώρος χρησιμοποιήθηκε μετά από τους χριστιανούς όπως συνέβη και σε πολλές άλλες περιπτώσεις.
In this area of the castle, once stood the Acropolis of Ancient Asini, and the ruins of the Temple of Apollo are probably one of the few places in the castle that remind us. It is located on our left after we cross the entrance of the monastery, next to the small church of God Wisdom. Few columns and some porous stairs have remained reminiscent of the ancient temple. This contributed to the fact that the same space was used after the Christians as it happened in many other cases.
