M	Michał Igor Stanisz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wąwóz wydaje się być piękny ale... po 50m w kierunku wskazanym przez drewniany znak trasa zagrodzona płotem :). Jak ktoś poprawnie oznaczy szlak albo usunie płot to będzie ciekawe miejsce. The gorge seems to be beautiful but ... after 50m in the direction indicated by a wooden sign, the path is fenced off with a fence :). If someone correctly marks the trail or removes the fence, it will be an interesting place.
A	Antonis Protos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μετά το καθάρισμα απο την ΚΟΙΝΣΕΠ Πεμπτουσία τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2020 το φαράγγι είναι καταπληκτικό! Κατάφυτη περιοχή με έντονη βλάστηση που δύσκολα συναντάς στην Κρήτη! Η κατάβαση ειναι περιπου 5 χιλιόμετρα μεχρι την κοίτη, απο εκει τραβας αριστερά (Νότια) για κάνα χιλιόμετρο ( υπαρχει και μερος με παγγακι/κούνια και σκια για να ξεκουραστείς) και μετα μπαίνεις αριστερά για να ανεβεις το φαράγγι Μποριανών το οποίο ειναι 2km μεχρι τον δρόμο! After the cleaning by COINSEP Pemptousia in September 2020, the gorge is amazing! A wooded area with intense vegetation that is hard to find in Crete! The descent is about 5 km to the riverbed, from there you pull left (South) for a kilometer (there is also a place with ice / cot and shade to rest) and then turn left to climb the gorge of Boriana which is 2km to road!
G	Georgia Grk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ωραιο γραφικό φαραγγι από το χωριό κυδωνι πηγαίνετε στην βρύση του χωριού που ειναι σε ένα κατηφορικό δρομάκι και από εκει αρχίζει το φαράγγι του κυδωνιου με κάτι σύρματα που πρέπει να ανοίξεις για να διασχίσεις το πρώτο χιλιόμετρο μετα αρχίζει ένα κατηφορικό μονοπάτι με ένα ποταμι και ακολουθεί η ξύλινη γέφυρα πολύ ωραίο φαράγγι αν θέλετε φτάνετε στο τέρμα 1 ωρα περίπου ολο το φαραγγι αλλιως μπορείτε να συνεχίσετε και να διασχίσετε το άλλο φαράγγι του μποριανου που ενώνεται σε ένα σημείο με το κυδωνι ωραιο και αυτο φαράγγι κατα την γνώμη μου ένα τσακ πιο όμορφο από το κυδωνι που συνολικά πιάνει μαζι με το κυδωνι 2 μιση με 3 ώρες ! Εχει σήμανση σε αρκετά σημεία και δεν πρόκειται να χαθεις ! Μετα από την έξοδο το μποριανου φαραγγιού θ πάρετε το δρόμο πισω για κυδωνι που ειναι κάπου 2 με 3 χιλιόμετρα για να βρείτε το αμάξι σας ! Nice picturesque gorge from the village of Kidoni go to the fountain of the village which is on a downhill road and from there begins the gorge of Kidoni with some wires that you have to open to cross the first kilometer then starts a downhill path with a river and follows the wooden bridge very nice gorge if you want to reach the end 1 hour about the whole gorge otherwise you can continue and cross the other gorge of borian that joins at one point with the quince nice and this gorge in my opinion a chuck more beautiful than the quince that totally catches together with the quince 2 halves to 3 hours! It is marked in several places and you will not get lost! After the exit of the Borian gorge you will take the road back for quince which is about 2 to 3 kilometers to find your car!
A	Antoine Casanova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Après de longue recherche un local nous donne la direction à suivre, une fois sur le point gps Google, il vous suffit de descendre à gauche pour apercevoir la signalisation en bois. 50 mètres plus bas il y a une barrière pour éviter que les chèvres s’échappent. Pensez à refermer la barrière soigneusement derrière vous ! Le chemin n’est pas très bien signalisé, il va falloir vous fier à votre instinct ! La descente se fait facilement mais garder un peu d’énergie pour le retour qui est plus compliqué ! After a long search, a local gives us the direction to follow, once on the Google gps point, you just have to go down to the left to see the wooden signs. 50 meters below there is a barrier to prevent the goats from escaping. Remember to close the barrier carefully behind you! The path is not very well signposted, you will have to trust your instincts! The descent is easy but keep some energy for the return, which is more complicated!
Θ	Θανασης Βογιατζακης on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ ωραία βόλτα κοντά στα Χανιά με δύο φαράγγια στο χωριό Καράνου. Πρόταση αφήστε το αμάξι στο χωριό και ανάλογα την φυσική κατάσταση κάντε το ένα ή και τα δύο. Η απόσταση είναι10 χιλιόμετρα αν κάνετε τον κύκλο. Προσοχή είναι δύο και έχει ανάβαση και κατάβαση συν τον καιρό...καλή βόλτα. Very nice walk near Chania with two gorges in the village of Karanou. Suggestion leave the car in the village and depending on the physical condition do one or both. The distance is 10 km if you make the circle. Attention there are two and it has ups and downs plus the weather ... good ride.
p	paul bakker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to all the storm damage of March 2019 this gorge isn't accessible. The surrounding roads and nature show a lot of damage. It's unclear when it will be available for hiking
S	Stephanie West on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 12.10.19 -- It is not a good path through the gorge - overgrown with plants, land slides, cobwebs, moving rocks. It is signposted (minimally!) but we turned around and did not complete it because it didn't feel safe. Crete, invest in this wonderful nature and make a proper trail through there! You are missing out!
