★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, canyon but you can't walk the at this moment. Small bridge over water is down and in December there is to much water to cross as the water is cold. But you can drive to the entrance point downstream and walk an other bit of the gorge going upstream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked both the Babouledo and the Traxinos gorge which create a loop. It took us about 3.5 hours. The entrance of the Babouledo gorge is located in the village square of Palaia Roumata. You will see a map on the left side of the road when entering the village Square and the trail behind on your right hand across the map. The Babouledo Gorge is easy to walk, even has water in it in June, and there are signs along the gorge indicating the direction. After crossing Babouledo, you have to walk on a dirt road for about 1 hour (thankfully there were super friendly villagers who showed us the way). On that road you must cross two fences . The beging of the gorge Traxinos is not indicated so it’s easy to get lost, simply try and enter the most accessible point. Traxinos is a tough gorge to walk with steep jumps to take, not recommend for people with kids or inexperienced hikers. All in all a great walk with beautiful scenery. Along the path you will walk about 80% of it in the shade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy hiking route, very organized and with signs. Around one hour to go and one hour back. If you have someone with car that he is not participating, he can take you o the starting point and then picking you up from the end (village of palaia roumata). In October, it was quiet and relaxing.
