★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A typical tourist-dining spot. It was our first meal in Zakynthos after we arrived. The food wasn’t that exciting and the staff looked more like they were programmed to be nice. Well, they were friendly enough to make the guests feel comfortable anyway. We had a room temp Greek salad (which is for me a no-go), a moussaka and a mushroom in cream sauce. Plus breads and complimentary frigania. The bread and frigania were poorly executed, taste-wise. We hadn’t tried frigania before and this first impression almost ruined it for us. But later we learned that this Zakyntos dessert is actually light and refreshing which is the opposite of what’s served at Stathmos. Moussaka and mushroom were pretty decent though. But in terms of price they are quite reasonable compared to any others in the same area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liked it so much we went there twice. The gigantes and dolmades were so good! I'm vegan and on the second visit had beetroot and vegetable spaghetti which was really tasty.

The staff was super friendly.
Definitely recommend and will certainly come back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In one week we ate there twice. Traditional Greek and very well executed kitchen. Much love for the wine leaves, big beans and Aubergine salad. The owner is super friendly and the service excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the vibe and the food. We chose this place because it seemed really authentic, calmer than the highly touristic main square and marina, yet still atmospheric. The waiter was such fun, and he even taught us some Greek words. Food wise, the lamb shank is excellent, the meatballs are super delicious as well. The Greek salad is a bit basic, but it was good nevertheless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In a four day trip, my husband and I went here twice. Delicious food with extremely friendly service. Our waiter, Christos, became a good friend after serving us for both lunch and dinner! The food is excellent - we had traditional Greek hummus, tzatziki, fresh squid with orzo, Greek bruschetta, fried feta with honey, giant prawns, Greek salad, and the lamb shank. Not all at once :) Highly recommend everything we had here. We will be back - yamas!

Open even at winters, bit pricey compared to other restaurants in the area.
Ambience was okay but definitely not a fine dine restaurant to take your girl friend for a date, but must do place if you love seafood.
