Nice statue in the middle of the square. His left toe is already pretty worn. Everyone who touches the toe gets knowledge and skill. We are going to see it.

Είναι ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους διανοούμενους της ιστορίας. Πανεπιστήμων, φιλόσοφος, κορυφαίος εκπαιδευτικός και αναμφίβολα ο συστηματικότερος και μεθοδικότερος νους της αρχαιότητας, έμελλε να μεταλαμπαδεύσει το φωτεινό του πνεύμα στον μαθητή του Αλέξανδρο τον Μέγα, ενώ αργότερα θα ίδρυε τη δική του σχολή, το περίφημο αριστοτελικό Λύκειο της Αθήνας, όπου και θα περνούσε στην αθανασία τόσο από το διδασκαλικό του έργο όσο και -κυρίως- από την ασύλληπτη συνθετική ικανότητα της διάνοιάς του. Θεωρείτε ο κατεξοχήν φιλόσοφος που κυριάρχησε στη σκέψη του δυτικού κόσμου σε όλες τις περιόδους της μετέπειτα ιστορίας του. Η διάσημη πλατεία Αριστοτέλους, σημείο αναφοράς για τους ντόπιους και τους επισκέπτες φέρει το όνομα του γιατί το άγαλμα που φιλοξενεί είναι αυτό του Αριστοτέλη. Είναι έργο του γλύπτη Γεώργιου Γεωργιάδη και τοποθετήθηκε στην πλατεία το 1990. Ο Αριστοτέλης απεικονίζεται σε καθιστή στάση, φοράει έναν μανδύα, σανδάλια και κρατά έναν πάπυρο. Το άγαλμα είναι τοποθετημένο σε μια μεγάλη μαρμάρινη βάση. Η απεικόνιση είναι έντονα ρεαλιστική, κάτι που αποτυπώνεται καθαρά στις πτυχώσεις των ρούχων. You are considered the pre-eminent philosopher who dominated the thought of the western world in all periods of its later history. The famous Aristotle Square, a reference point for locals and visitors, bears its name because the statue it hosts is that of Aristotle. It is the work of the sculptor Georgios Georgiadis and was placed in the square in 1990. Aristotle is depicted sitting, wearing a cloak, sandals and holding a papyrus. The statue is placed on a large marble base. The illustration is intensely realistic, which is clearly reflected in the folds of the clothes.

One of the main places for photos if you are a traveler. I think this one is my favorite statue's in Thessaloniki. The great monument to remember the past
