Theodore Kolokotronis (April 3, 1770 - February 4, 1843) was the commander-in-chief and leader of the Revolution of 1821, a politician, attorney, adviser to the State. He became known as the Old Man of Moria.

Honor and glory to the people who feared nothing and no one for their faith and their Nation. Kolokotronis gave a son for the Homeland and the statues are the least he deserves.
