Stavros Villas - Karterados Square 1

The rooms are spacious, clean, and recently updated. The bathroom inside the room is super nice. The beds are comfortable. The room I stayed in had a double bed, a twin bed, and a large couch bed (size of a twin) that could sleep another; could sleep four comfortably. Fira is not that far from the hotel, a five to ten minute drive, if you have a car, scooter, or a quad (definitely recommend renting a vehicle of some sorts because taxis are expensive and tours are overrated). The pool is really nice and serene. The location of the hotel is away from the main road so the location is calm and peaceful. Perfect place for couples and families. The owner is really nice, he arranged a quad to be dropped off to the hotel from a local company and it was cheaper than the competitors. Also he found me a transfer to the airport for €12

Really good for the price! This is a budget hotel for sure but it’s clean it’s safe. Do not stay here If you don’t have transportation

Very good location. Nearby Fira and easy to access with an ATV. All the basic accommodation are there. And the host Stavros was very helpful during our stay. Would suggest to book directly with owner.

Stavros, the owner/manager was extreamly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The optional breakfast is great! He offers a shuttle service that is super convienent for getting arround the island and his prices for this service are very fair. We had an amazing stay here and would reccomend to a friend.

A good, clean and beautiful hotel. Mr.Stavros is very helpful which makes life easy for any First timers on the island !

As we expected the most touristy parts of Santorini (Oia and Fira) to be too hectic for a relaxed visit, we picked this place in semi rural Karterados for a little extra peace. From the start, as you pull into the dirt parking lot (yes we rented a car, and I think you need one to stay here) and see a couple horses in the nearby field, the feel of tranquility is there. There are a few things which could be easily improved. Like a basic coffeemaker on each room. I get it, the place does not include breakfast so they charge for morning coffee and cakes. But give guests the option to brew their own. Also, there is no built connection between the parking lot and the hotel entrance. You have to step over a curved arch to get to the other side. The step is low, but when you are an old coot like me, it's dark and you're carrying luggage, it makes you feel a tad insecure. Just cutting off the curved thing at the top step and perhaps adding a couple handle posts to grab onto would do. Furthermore, the owner offered no help carrying our luggage (there are stairs to the rooms as well as down to the parking lot); a female assistance (the only person that seems to be on the premises at all times) did help my wife after check out. But the rooms are comfortable, the tables to get a bite or just relax in the sun great, the air conditioning efficient, the swimming pool clean and nice, and when you unwind after the madness of Oia you feel the decision was the right one.
