★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maria, who owns these apartments, works very hard cleaning, washing and ironing sheets dried outside in the sunshine. You can't help but appreciate the location in the traditional village of Karterados. A very short walk takes you to the corner shop, which stocks all the basics, and has such a kind-hearted lady running it too. Listen out for the passing fishmonger to get fresh fish that has come straight off the boat. Hiring a car helps to get around, but there are also regular buses from the national road, or you can hire a scooter or similar. The pool is an added bonus!

750 m to the bakery, supermarket and bus stop.
Quiet rural neighborhood. At dawn, crowing of roosters and neighing of horses can be heard.
Room No. 2 - a great view from the balcony - on one side Fira, on the other the sea.
Room and bathroom cleaning daily. Daily change of towels. Every few days, bed linen changed.
Efficient air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Mrs. Maria and her daughter perfectly care about the cleanliness of whole the guesthouse.
Clean water in the pool, sunbeds and umbrellas.
Excellent information about the island, assistance in renting a vehicle and buying boat trips.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the best hostel experience my friend and I have ever had. The hosts were extremely welcoming and drove us to the ferry afterwards (a service that we had no idea was included!).
The beds were great, lots of privacy, and having a fridge was very welcomed. Would definitely come back here when returning to Santorini!
Only downside is that it is a bit of a walk to the main buses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was clean and clean were the towels and the bedroom sheets also. Room was quite comfort for two people and also had another bed if you were three. The swimming pool was clean. Our host was kind and helpful and she also gave us a brief guide of the island. Value for money was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent lovely three days there. It was a perfect spot for a quick vacation - in the middle of Santorini, easy route from the airport and close to everything you might need. And of course the POOL!! All in all it was a great starting point of all our car trips around the island. Highly recomend especially because tha staff is sooooo helpful and warm. Our stay couldn’t be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can 100% recommend staying at the Villa Pelekanos. It is a beautiful, cozy hotel, the rooms are comfortable, the pool and the outer area gorgeous. It is 25 Minutes from the center by foot, 5 when you are driving - perfect, so you can chill out in a calm environment while also being at the touristic places fast. Supermarket, car rental or restaurants are near, too.
