Ils nous ont mis à disposition une boîte de biscuits traditionnels faits maison, de l'huile d'olive locale et du raki. Lits confortables et propreté à souligner ! Au calme ! Situation idéale pour explorer les Gorges de la Vallée de la mort ! Located at the top of the village with a beautiful terrace. Very warm welcome from the owners. They provided us with a box of homemade traditional biscuits, local olive oil and raki. Comfortable beds and cleanliness to emphasize! Quiet ! Ideal location for exploring the Gorges of the Valley of Death!
R	Rocco Curtale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il posto ci è piaciuto molto. Certo dipende dai gusti e da cosa si cerca. È una vecchia casa discretamente ristrutturata con tutte le comodità per una vacanza. È ottima per due coppie perché dispone di una piccola dependance costituita da camera da letto e bagno. Si trova nella parte alta di Zakros, un piccolo paese che però è dotato dei servizi essenziali, negozietti, farmacia, bancomat, bar, ristoranti. Il paese è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Due bellissime spiagge sono raggiungibili in auto, meno di 10 km. La zona dell'isola è ancora intatta e molto selvaggia, ma offre le comodità sufficienti a chi ama il relax. Per i camminatori si trova sul sentiero E 4 che attraversa tutta l'isola e ci sono delle belle escursioni per tutti i gusti. Unico problema il vento che soffia spesso sull'isola e colpisce particolarmente la casa che si trova in posizione elevata. Esiste comunque una zona riparata all'esterno dove è possibile mangiare in tutte le condizioni. We loved the place. Of course it depends on your tastes and what you are looking for. It is an old house discreetly renovated with all the comforts for a holiday. It is excellent for two couples because it has a small annex consisting of a bedroom and bathroom. It is located in the upper part of Zakros, a small town which, however, is equipped with essential services, shops, pharmacy, ATMs, bars, restaurants. The village is easily reachable on foot. Two beautiful beaches can be reached by car, less than 10 km away. The area of the island is still intact and very wild, but offers sufficient comfort for those who love relaxation. For walkers it is located on the E 4 path that crosses the whole island and there are beautiful excursions for all tastes. The only problem is the wind that often blows on the island and particularly affects the house which is located in an elevated position. However, there is a sheltered area outside where it is possible to eat in all conditions.
