Excellent and detailed tour by the soldier. The underground galleries and the museum are amazing. Not just worth a visit. Emotional experience.

Fort RUPEL, is shocking, wonderful, it is worth visiting, the landscape excited us the area, the soldier who guided us was very good, everything WONDERFUL !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing part of modern Hellenic history. A testament of the heroism and perseverance of Greeks against much superior forces as a tradition from the time of Leonidas. Presented in much detail by active Greek soldiers. The soldier-guides may speak English but are not expected to do so. If you speak Greek there is no issue but if not, your experience may vary but they will try to accommodate. Highly recommended to visit a war memorial for its history, the more than 6km of fortified underground tunnels (200m accessible) that gives a perspective of the life of the soldiers, and views of the valley.
