Studios Diamanto - ΚΑΡΑΒΟΜΥΛΟΣ

È un posto comodissimo e centrale per visitare la bellissima isola di Cefalonia. A 100 metri ti trovi il mare e che mare... A pochi minuti puoi raggiungere dei posti veramente suggestivi... Ti senti a casa... I proprietari ti fanno sentire come se fossi a casa tua... come un po' tutta Cefalonia. Insieme al mio ragazzo abbiamo alloggiato per 12 giorni a fine settembre in uno studio... ma per noi era un piccolo appartamento più che un monolocale. Il prezzo dell alloggio invitante... Con i spazi giusti. La pulizia impeccabile... La piscina meravigliosa... giusto per rilassarti qualche ora. È una gestione famigliare che merita di essere premiata. Noi possiamo dire solo che grazie di tutto. Speriamo di tornare presto ? Arkida&Simone.

Great staff. They are really hospitable and kind people. The rooms are great. Very new and tidy.

Comfortable and extremely clean. Stunning views from upper level units. Our room had a small kitchen. Although minimally stocked, the kitched had everything we neededfor a one week stay. Towels changed every two days. Supplies provided: toilet tissue, kitchen towel and sponge, dishwashing detergent. Coffeemaker, generously sized minifridge, good storage for clothes, lovely balcony. Air conditioner works well but make sure you get directions on how to work the remote. Very friendly and gracious hosts. Wi-Fi and laundry services upon request (they will wash for you and line dry). Bus ststion on the square near the mini-market. 20 minute seaside walk to Sami for dinner, although there is a taverna two blocks away. A mini-market is a three minute walk away and has everything you'll need including wine. Another block down from the market is a fabulous bakery with outdoor seating, good menu and good wi-fi service.

My holiday here with my boyfriend was perfect. The owner was very friendly and showed us a map of the area when we first arrived, pointing out the best places to visit. The room was very modern and clean and although we stayed self-catering, were provided with fresh linen and towels daily. The pool was also very clean and never too busy for us to sit around. In Karavomylos there is a mini market, a bakery and a taverna - all within 5 minutes walk. The Melissani lake is also just a 5 minute walk and definitely worth a visit. For food I would recommend walking into Sami which is about 30 minutes but this is a lovely stroll along the path next to the beach. There are hotels along the beach with sun-beds to hire, however other lovely beaches are accessible by bus from Sami or the small bus stop in Karavomylos. We stayed at Studios Diamanto for a week which was the perfect amount of time as we had no car but managed to explore everything close by. We would definitely return to Kefalonia and even stay here again but would hire a car to explore the other side of the island better. The holiday was perfect and I would highly recommend this hotel!
