Rocky area suitable for summer excursions. Archaeological site crucial for tourists. Wonderful sights that make you think about that time. In quite good condition with excellent cleanliness in all areas.

This place was source of water in the past, but now is closed and can be seen only from outside. What a pity...

the underground cistern is closed! unfortunately! due to unexperienced ‚tourists‘ who slipped and fell. very annoying this since we came for the cistern.

Went down here last summer, but I hear it has since been closed off? I hoped that wouldn’t happen, was amazing down there (need a flash light on ur phone) but super cold down there compared to the summer heat of Greece. No water to be seen but still amazing to be able to go down it and is a great memory

Very interesting piece of the ancient Greek world. This construction was built over 3000 years ago!

The corbelled roof of the descent to the cistern is a work of art!!! I mean, think of it, the sheer size of each stone and the way its built, not today but 3000yrs ago......

Mycenae was one of the major centres of Greek civilization. Even the period of Greek history from 1600 BC to about 1100 BC is called Mycenaean in reference to Mycenae. You will find ancient city there. Nature there is amazing, so you will definitely enjoy it. The price is €6 per person
