★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum helps you understand the daily life of the Mycenaeans - in other words it gives a human dimension to the monumental ruins. The museum itself is quite modern and very nicely designed. Bear in mind that the most impressive finds from Mycenae, such as the swords and golden burial mask of King "Atreus", aren't here but at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fantastic Museum of Mycenae !!! This ancient archaeological site is truly a wonder to experience, and this marvelous museum holds all the amazing artifacts and relics discovered here. Magnificently preserved and excellently presented with a wealth of information, prepared to be dazzled by the Gold Mask of Agamemnon and many other tremendous treasures that miraculously survived throughout antiquity..... Enjoy my friends... this place is special and definitely on the Greece MUST SEE List :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum contains a great number of exhibits dating back to 3,000-4,000 years which describe quite graphically the every day life and religious worship of the inhabitants of Mycenae. I loved the information board that described different ancient Greek scriptures!
