β β β β β A return visit yet again, it's so good we keep coming back. Apartments are well equipped and clean, on site taverna provides tasty well prepared food both traditional Greek food and the usual pizza, burgers etc. Staff are friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to please. The apartments are close to beaches, pine forest, restaurants, and local convenience stores. Koukounaries is a quiet peaceful resort where you can totally chill out !.

β β β β β Stayed at Sunset Apartments for our first visit to Skiathos. The whole site, apartments gardens and pool were very clean throughout. All managed smoothly by friendly, welcoming staff. A super location in a quite area of Koukanaries in the south of Skiathos. Regular bus to Skiathos Town easy to use within a short walk. Nearest beaches within 20 mins walk either through a lovely idyllic forest or around main road or short cut around lake to a beach with watersports & water taxi service to Skiathos Town. Good selection of tavernas and restaurants nearby (Strofilia got our top vote). Excellent Augustera Bar next door for drinks & light meals or snacks. A well-stocked supermarket adjacent to Augustera. Overall, a lovely peaceful place within easy reach of all Skiathos has to offer. Best of both worlds really!

β β β β β We stayed here for one week, lovely. Room had everything we needed, comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty hot water and cleaned regularly. Pool area was perfect and kept clean. Man behind the bar was great, always smiling and helpful. Location was great, close to other restaurants and a short walk to several beaches. I would definitely stay here again.
