★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a 36 euro ticket for airport round trip and I got back on the metro for a trip to city center (after the lady at the desk told me I could use all to travel around) and said my card was invalid. Talk to the man in the ticket booth (which was playing a game on his phone the whole time) and he said I bought bus tickets. After explaining to him that made no sense, he looked at the ticket and said that we couldn't use the ticket to go anywhere else other than to our hotel and back to airport. So have to pay 20 euros plus 2.70 just to get home and then back to the airport. The man at the booth was completely unprofessional and the experience with this metro station was terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most complete metro stations in Athens, connection with two metro lines, and support with bus station going directly to the Athens International Airport on the outside.
Almost everyday there are events or exhibitors taking place inside the metro station and the energy of the station is always great!
Bonus tip: there are great historic monuments inside the station and sculpture that are free to visit and surely very interesting!
PS: be sure to find the fantastic artwork located ok the ceiling when you go down to change to the blue line! Look up to find it!!
