On a arrival we was greeted with a warm welcome found a nice table good selection of dishes we ordered large beans which was a generous portion but only lukewarm we then had the moussaka which was piping hot it was very nice but we can’t say it’s the best in kefalonia has we haven’t had enough to compare I thought the water was expensive at €2.40 and some of the other dishes expensive compared to other restaurants we have eaten at
Overall enjoyed our meal the staff favour their regulars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have visited a number of times while staying in Lassi, Ionio have the friendliest staff, who make you feel extremely welcome. The local dishes are authentic and delicious, the lamb shank and stifado are amazing. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, the food is good but not excellent. The service is ok. We were 4 and the Moussakas were delicious but I got a tomahawk steak which is usually beef but this one was pork and I didn't expect that. Also the fries were really oily. Overall a 4.5 experience
