★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an amazing time at taverna Amelia. We came one night without a booking and was made to feel so welcomed. We then booked for my birthday evening. On arrival the staff had made an extra effort for my birthday to feel extra special. We can not thank the owner and staff enough for their kindness and hospitality.
We would highly recommend.

We had the souszakake which was absolutely amazing!
Lovely staff who are very nice and welcoming, upon sitting down you will be presented with a free meze of bread and sauces then once you have finished your meal you will then get a free ice creamw ith homemade cake which is absolutely fantastic in flavour and consistancy.
To top it off you will be given some raki to have a toast with the staff.
If you are in Crete please go here you wont regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was exceptional and the staff extremely friendly! Bread and some salads for starter and a chocolate cake dessert were on the house and also really delicious. We recommend to skip the restaurants at the beach and come here instead, it will be absolutely worth the time and money! :)
