★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was a little strange. No menu, no prices, no other customers, vegetarian signs but actually standard Greek cuisine. There were 3 or 4 other tavernas next door with customers. Seemed like a bad sign, however, we took the risk and the food was great, very fresh, excellent portions, the owner was lovely and the prices were the cheapest of any taverna we’ve found yet on Crete - half the price of some nearby. We ate till we were full for around 20 euros for a family of 4, including soft drinks.
I didn’t understand it, but I can’t recommend it highly enough. ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had one of our favorite nights here. Nice waitstaff, eating among locals and delicious food. Highlights included a life changing tzatziki (garlic fans will be thrilled) and the best Dakos we had on the island.
