★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019: Stylish, cozy, traditional, fantastic tavern with fantastic owners Kleitonas and Maria. Sea/fish food is not here, but everything we ate here was delicious. Cliton makes a great atmosphere and Maria delicious meals. We ate here several times. I highly recommend. For us the restaurant in TOP3 in Crete, and in the area is the best. We'll be back.
7/2021: We were in 2019 and I wrote that we will return. And we came back in 2021. Because the place is worth it. Again excellent food from Mary and excellent host Cliton. Everything Mrs. Maria cooks is excellent. I highly recommend. I hope we can return for the third time. Don't expect luxury, but a nice place with atmosphere, fantastic people and amazing food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best tavernas in the whole area, and to be honest, most of the tavernas offer good food, but Maria is absolutely the best and... a very special lady. There is so much love in the taverna, in the food, in the environment and for the people who visit and this you taste in every bite you take! I recommend the zuchini fritata and everything else Maria makes! Thank you Maria (and husband, I forgot the name...) Lydia and Haco Thijs

And eating there every night for over a week, we have tried all (but the rabbit)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our top meals on Crete! A super classic small village taverna. The lamb and the fried zucchini were excellent! Beautiful patio and super kind staff. Fill your water bottles at the spring water fountain on the street below the restaurant.
