★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent restaurant. Food was great, with big portions, impeccable service, and good prices. I definitely recommend to make a stop here. Try the stuffed mushrooms, and the fried zucchini balls. Dessert was unbelievable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful place, hidden in the mountain mists of Lasithi. The restaurant has delicious food and excellent service. We stopped for a while after a hiking and we could not leave this place without trying 4 main dishes. The treat at the end was also amazingly tasty. 10/10!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended! Located in a beautiful mountainous village with delicious cretan food! And there is a guesthouse too to stay over night!
Everything is very creatively decorated, food is freshly made, local style, presented nicely, and their portions are enormous! (Take your leftovers with you, they kindly provide a take away packaging)
Complimentary raki and desert to top it all up!
Have a look at their store, selling local foods and wine, oils, soaps and souvenirs. Loved it all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice restaurant located in a traditional Cretan village having as a main attraction a centuries old plane tree.
Regarding the restaurant I have been planning to visit it for years ever since I saw pictures of the pork steak ?
We ordered the pork steak, a ribeye steak, goat in red sauce and a couple of starters and I can say I was totally satisfied and the tastes met my expectations. Last but not least, there are local brewery labels available.
I would definitely visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A surprisingly very good combination between traditional Greek dishes and modern cuisine, very clean, well decorated and spacious tavern. Friendly and fast service, nice presentation of each dish! A fine choice for travelers, both Greek and international.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and drinks were exceptionally good. There were no vegetarian options amongst the main dishes but vegetarian Appetizers e.g. and our vegetarian friends still got full and satisfied. So no complain from their side. The service was impeccable and the staff was friendly, all together an above and beyond experience!
PS: don’t miss their gift shop in the basement! Perfect opportunity to grab some souvenirs for taking home without breaking the bank!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is really nice.It offers tasty food traditional+modern.I really liked the stuffed mushrooms.Amazing salad.Also,not far from the tavern you can take a walk and admire The tree-landmark of the village next to old water fountain.
P.S.The dessert was amazing.
