★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful little restaurant right middle in the market center. Enjoy the most delicious tsatziki, Greek bread, fried zucchini and feta rolls while watching the busy market life. Big thanks to the restaurant staff, especially Arela for making us laugh, teaching us how to drink ouzo without getting a hangover and just being lovely. Thank you so much!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favorite place to eat in Athens! We had a great lunch for the third time this week. As we return, we get more adventurous--today we had Greek salad, shrimp saganaki, and kavourmas (well seasoned, fork tender shredded meat baked with cheese). Finished up with espresso and some sort of wonderful spice nut cake. Our server spoke English well and was very helpful as we asked questions and made our choices. Sumptuous food at a moderate price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! We've been here twice this week. It's owned by a butcher here in the Municipal Market, and everything is impeccably fresh and perfectly prepared. I recommend the traditional roasted lamb with potatoes, cooked in a device I haven't seen before. Fork tender and succulent! The grilled sardines were delicious, served with steamed spinach. Sea bream was fabulously fresh and prepared perfectly. The pork chop was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful. Greek salad was perfect for two. The black eyed peas in vinaigrette was a great starter as well. Delicious bread with REALLY GOOD olive oil means you will be taking leftovers back for later. Clientele is a mix of locals and a few tourists. (English is spoken here.) Everything is made and served with love and care ?
