★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tarverna Seretis (formerly known as Matinas Taverna) has a very special atmosphere that allows you to relax and enjoy life like nowhere else.
The restaurant has a beautiful maritime setting with a view over Poros Town, surrounded by small fisherman's boats. You can even enter directly from your boat if you come from the seaside. Sometimes there is really nice live music all and the food is top class, especially the fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place with great location right on the beach. We really liked salad with avocados, but Lamb chops were a little bit to dry. Needed to ask twice to get our Fried anchovies and they also were a little bit too dry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic authentic homemade Greek Food. The best we have had in Greece!! Family run taverna and owner Savvas and his mother Matina exemplify Greek hospitality and warmth but it's more than that; they have become our friends. We were in Poros 5 days and have tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner here at what is NOW CALLED SERETIS TAVERNA, on different days. The fried aubergine with tomato sauce and Feta fabulous!! The salads are bar none the best in Greece such as the avocado shrimp salad or the chef salad, all with home made dressings. Chicken bacon souvlaki unique and tasty. Bolognese sauce that was meaty with subtle herb flavors - simply the best you will find anywhere. Visit Seretis when you first arrive and will go nowhere else.
