★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here on a Tuesday night. No customers when we arrived, only two old men sitting in a corner table in the garden. Found the waiter inside the restaurant, who didn’t speak any English. He quickly set a table for two outside and took our order. Many items on the menu were not available. I was already having some doubts, but when the food arrived, it was probably the most delicisious experience in Crete. Greek salad was absolutely amazing and souvlakis were mouthwatering and juicy. It’s not fine dining but they do home-style cooking really well. The waiter was so friendly although there was a huge language barrier. Overall one of the best dinner places in Rethymnon. I would definitely go again. And above all it’s dirt cheap!
