They have very good food, very good service, incredibly nice family who run the place, lovely atmosphere, stunning views from the roof terrace. Definitely worth a visit and I promise you go there several times. Tried many dining places in Platanias, but ended up on Souroupo. Have taken my dinner for several years just here on my vacation in Platanias.

We chose the Fish directly from the kitchen and got it perfectly grilled with nice side dishes. We also had very good and fresh starters, which were close to perfect. Thanks for a nice evening :)

Food, servings and other stuff is the same as for all local tavernas which is excellent - dont mistake me - its perfect!

Tables on the balcony have the best view of course but also shares woth you a nice breeze. There is free wifi available. Menu is ok. Food served is fine. I ate better in Crete but overall, can't say any wrong.

Everything was fresh and delicious and what made it all better was that is a family run restaurant. The home-made wine is a must to try as well as the cuttlefish with cheese. We had such a lovely time and the service was excellent! So glad we decided to come here, would definitely return!

Food was elegant and clean - stuffed zucchini flowers, unbelievably soft octopus and calamari, and grilled pork chop to die for. Freshly made fruit juice was delicious. Homemade wine and cream cheese (made by the mother) and little complementary dessert. Friendly service - the daughter of the family was a welcoming host. My daughter was also very happy about the wifi!

The food was very well prepared and well served, and the service was very fast and gentle. We have ordered shrimps, octopus and a Greek Salad, which were delicious!! And with fair prices compared to some similar restaurants. At the end, we have been offered with a complimentary dessert (a very tasty fudge) and a small bottle of Raki. Totally recommended.
