★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best authentic Greek food in Crete, possibly in all of Greece. We were recommended this place by our hotel staff. It was a bit tricky to find using google maps but trust me, once you eat there you will come back to eat more. Looks to be a family run place with home made yumminess. If you are in Crete, and you don’t visit this place, you are missing out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small village with this local taverna. Was welcomed by the owner and his son. Perfect english. Had an amazing local meal made with fresh and simple cooking. This really is "have to come here" place. Was very tasty and very fair price!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a great place to eat. Been to Agios? Kritsa ? Take a short detour to Exo Lakonia for traditional food of a very high standard. The legendary bougainvillea has suffered through some harsh climate changes, but it will be back! In the meantime, enjoy the great food..ee think we have been eating here for around 17 years. Will keep returning. Thank you Manolis and your amazing team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place we've been so far, excellent food, very nice place, and great people, unfortunately we couldn't come back but we will for sure! The nice lady advised us interesting dishes with a lot of taste (sausage in vinegar in particular) !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great traditional restaurant. Modest but authentic atmosphere. Food is excellent and surprisingly low budget (compared to overpriced touristic places in the city below). Irini (our waitress) spoke very good English and was helpful and smiling all the time... Must go place for typical Cretan experience. Loved it.
