★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first option you have when entering the town on the Corfu trail offers a lot of shade sitting under the nettle tree, great views and a huge list on the menu. The food was ok, the home made ginger beer looked spectacular when opened.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just the sort of rustic meal we were hoping for.... Fried peppers and courgette fritters to start, mains were rabbit stew with lots of onions, and beef with ockra stew. Very very tasty. One server very friendly, one a tad indifferent. Two courses with glass of wine, bottle of beer, bread and water was a very reasonable 44euro

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A memorable lunch in this beautiful Taverna. Warmly welcomed, and a lunch of courgette fritters, with a hint of dill, and fried peppers, followed by beef and okra, slow cooked in a delicious sauce and plenty of okra, and rabbit stifado, which was melt in the mouth. All this washed down with the local red wine and in the most fantastic surroundings.
