Η πρώτη ύλη έχει καθοριστική βαρύτητα στο Τηλέμαχος Athens, το εστιατόριο που προσφέρει γευστικό φαγητό υψηλής ποιότητας από το μεσημέρι και έχει διακριθεί με πολλά βραβεία.
Το κρέας στο Telemachos Athens πρωταγωνιστεί. To tartare κόβεται στο χέρι και οι παραδοσιακές ψησταριές, η rotisserie και ο φούρνος Josper ψήνουν κάθε κομμάτι με περισσή ακρίβεια.
Αρνί και πρόβατο, μαύρος χοίρος, μοσχάρι και βοδινό από ελληνικές φάρμες φυσικής, παραδοσιακής κτηνοτροφίας, αλλά και τρυφερό αμερικάνικο Black Angus και βελούδινη, βουτυράτη ιταλική Fassona Piemontese, κλασικές και ασυνήθιστες κοπές και σιτέματα, όλα παίζουν το ρόλο τους σε ένα πολυεπίπεδο σενάριο με έντονο ελληνικό χρώμα.
Η μοναδική συλλογή μας από ελληνικά αλλαντικά βάζει τις τελικές ψηφίδες σε ένα συναρπαστικό κρεατικό ταμπλό που καλύπτοντας όλες τις πιθανές γευστικές αποχρώσεις από το Τ-Βοne και την Picanha μέχρι το κοκορέτσι ή τον πρόβειο παστουρμά μακράς ωρίμανσης είναι δύσκολο να σε αφήσει ασυγκίνητο.

The food was largely very nice but the cut of meat I had was tough to cut and chew unfortunately

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere - I can't think of anything they could have done better. This was the tastiest meal we had in Greece. We had a couple of incredible salads, and then Lamb that was so tender and juicy (I didn't even think I liked lamb before this!). We didn't go at a peak time, so there were only a couple other tables in use in the restaurant. Beautiful setting with enjoyable ambiance. Server heard us talking about an item we wanted to try but didn't end up ordering, so brought us a mini-appetizer on the house. We loved it, this is our favourite place to eat in Athens!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service; the water and wine were frequently refreshed. Very good Greek wines to choose from. The salad, pasta, bread, and mashed potatoes were good. The steak, however, was terrible. It looked impressive served thick cut with the bone on and cooked to perfect temperature. The steak, however, had absolutely no marbling, completely dry with no juices, no flavor, and each piece had to be spit out as it could not be chewed. The lead server just gave excuses as to how that's how their steak is supposed to be so we found no value in arguing. Filet is also not an option on their menu now.

Let me break down the review
Location 5 star / easy to access centre of Athens
Service 5 stars the waiters were knowledgable and helpful and went out of their way to keep us happy
Steak tartar / Carpaccio 5 stars fantastic
Rib eye / fillets flat and really not nice at all.
The waiters could see we were not happy and tried their best to make up for it
We really wanted a good experience at this place and after the build up from the nice introduction we got a bit disappointed
We probably need to give the place a send chance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is one of the beast stake houses in terms of food. Although the interior is not something great (that’s why they lost the 5th star), the food was amazing. The interesting thing is that 2-3 times, waiters arrived with big plates, with starters or salads, and we have the option to choose immediately. I haven’t seen that in a restaurant for many years. Then they have Greek soutzoukakia as welcoming dish, which was great, and as we wait our friends they treated us their home made wine, which was really good. As far as meat is concerned, whatever we ate was great. Beef fillet and picahna were really tasty and cooked as we ordered them. Totally recommend it.
