Fantastic place!

Beautiful location and nice walk towards the beach

Unfortunately, I didn't find anything close to the pictures posted on the website. Maybe they were real in the first months of the cottage. Now, september 2019, they look like this: Wifi slow to inexistent, the private beach is not at all accessible.

I stayed in Thalia cottage. The welcome was done by the father of the owner. He was super nice and passed by everyday to make sure everything was ok. We arrived quite late and still had to eat, so he called harrys taverna (closeby and def. a recommendation) to reserve for us and than he drove in front of us to bring us there, so nice! The cottage is very nice, pool is great, amazing views, super calm, a 10 min walk to the beach through the olive trees. Really a place to relax.

Note: Review is for the cottage, as there are two buildings on the estate. The villa was clean, bright and well kept. There is air-conditioning throughout which keeps the villa at a nice temperature. The pool isn't heated, which is nice and refreshing to dip into, but can be a little much for some. Kitchen was well-stocked. The garden was nice, private and well-maintained. The two bathrooms were nice. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower, which is great to quickly wash off after using the pool or sand from the beach. The main complaint is the Wi-Fi. The speed is generally slow (0.5 Mbps), and cut out multiple times. The internet was also suspended during our stay, and we had to contact the owner to fix it. They did fix it, but it took about 24 hours to be sorted. Although the point of the trip isn't to sit on the phone all day, a reliable connection is needed to make travel arrangements, share photos with friends, etc. Finally, there is an issue with hornets / wasps on-site. Most outdoor meals were plagued by wasps, and there was a hornet regularly flying around, which seemed to be living under the stairs down to the back gate. Some treatment for this would be good to allow people to fully enjoy their time outdoors at the villa. Overall, I recommend Thalia Estate. It's a great place to stay if you like somewhere private and self-contained.
