★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited this taverna many times over the last 25 to 30 years and it just keeps getting better. Lovely location in the hills above Marmari and Karystos but less than 20 minutes drive. Cooler in the summer than the town, lovely mountain style cooked dishes, excellent service and very reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a long hard day at the beach why not take a break from fish and various seafood on the coast and take a quick drive up the mountain and enjoy the cool air under the stars for some traditional greek dishes.
Pick whatever you like you can't go wrong but please order the special of the day what ever it is you will be satisfied.
Oh and if are a beer person apart from the various greek choices why dont you try Septem the local microbrewery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect at all levels. The food taste was unbelievable. Special dishes with hand made pastry. Most of the products that used to prepare the dishes are produced from the owner. Quick service, perfect personnel and receipt given without asking as in others restaurants in the area.
Also the village is a green oasis that excel in the area scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best dining experience on Evia. This lovely restaurant is situated in a small village in the beautiful wooded hills not too far from the main road. The food is excellent with boar and venison coming from the owner's farm. The staff are very friendly and helpful and if you travel to Evia this is a 'must visit' restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice traditional tavern in a village 40 min away from Karystos. You can enjoy the nature and the tavern located high in the mountain. The food was really good. I have the time to take a photo only for the salad :)
